Mongolian PM Bayar Sanjaa tenders resignation
A party chief said on Monday that Bayar Sanjaa's request must still be approved by the speaker of the landlocked Asian nation's parliament. Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party General Secretary Khurelsukh Ukhaa said party leaders would meet Wednesday to discuss the political situation in the country. Bayar Sanjaa has previously sought treatment overseas for liver problems due to a hepatitis C infection and was hospitalized again last week in the Mongolian capital, Ulan Bator.
